Atención plena (mindfulness), parentalidad y desarrollo infantil: propuesta de un modelo téorico

Resumen

El presente artículo presenta una revisión de la aplicación de intervenciones basadas en la atención plena (mindfulness) a la promoción de habilidades parentales. Se da cuenta de la evidencia relacionada con la efectividad de las intervenciones basadas en la atención plena y luego se revisan estudios que han abordado la aplicación de este tipo de estrategias enfocados en la crianza y parentalidad. Finalmente, se plantea un modelo de crianza aplicando los principios de la atención plena, tomando elementos teóricos y empíricos.
